Eligibility and Classification in Intellectual Disability Sport
INAS-FID manages the eliigbility and classification process for athletes wishing to particpate in sport for people with an intellectual disability and complies with the IPC Classification Code.
Athletes must meet the eligibility criteria as defined by INAS, which is based upon the World Health Organisation and American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.

Applying for Classification
Athletes applying for a classification for the first time, should use the form below. Careful reference should be made to the Guidance Notes. Athletes who already appear in the Master List but wish to participate in a further sport should use the 'Additional Sport' form.

TSAL
Athletes applying for an INAS Classification are requried to complete the TSAL questionnaire. This does not form part of the eligibility check, but is used to inform and develop the process of classification.
Where possible, the TSAL should be completed online. Alternatively, a paper copy may be downloaded and submitted with the application.

Application Deadlines
Applications for athlete classification should be sent to the Secretariat as early as possible. The formal deadlines can be found on the INAS calendar.
Master List of Eligible Athletes
INAS maintains a Master List of athletes who have successfully completed the Primary Eligibility Check. Athletes are eligible for consideration for INAS-FID competition.
